Never been a permabull gold bug, So no I didn't get beat-up. I think I actually sold a little too early in 2006, but it was before his famous he "rang the cash register" post. Yes SOB makes good calls, and he does pretty charts, but remember this fact: No one, absolutetly NO ONE can predict markets. The best they can do is "mangage" winners and losers.

Permabulls are mostly those that never sell, so I guess if a permabull is happy that he finally saw the light with SOB's calls in 2006 after holding for years maybe decades at losses only to find 2 short years later he would have been in the green, fine. But if SOB claims that he's been on the bull train since 2000, I'll raise the red flag, because it just ain't so.
