That "Joke" has been going around the internet for a long time. Think about it - how can it work. An email "message" is DATA, not program. If someone mails you an executable as an attachement, don't run it, but DATA can not harm your system...How would DATA that is being viewed (and only viewed) by mail program execute? How would it know if I'm running Dos, Windows (3.1, 95, NT), OS/2, Unix, Linux, Mac? How would it know what mail software I'm using? How would it know what file system it had to destroy (FAT, FAT32, HPFS, NTFS, bunch of Unix file systems, whatever Mac's use)?
