The ‘has been, once was’, Algore came to town, met w/ 400 Philipinos in a school cafeteria. Front page news, banner headlines, big photos, lots of yada yada print.
V.P. Cheney in town and not a scrap of print on it except for a tiny warning from HPD that there might be unexpected traffic problems because of his visit, and THAT I finally dug up on page b6, way down, lower left of page. It was the only confirmation that I could find that he is alive, never mind here! It’s the biggest political event since statehood and absolutely nothing in that rag about it. Called all over town to larger venues to see where he might be booked. Convention center holds 10,000+/- @ 11:00p today. Shouldn’t wonder about the ‘no notice’ thing, that rag endorsed Kerry two weeks ago. Will cancel delivery in am. Talk about liberal news bias. Damned in your face blatant wouldn’t you say, not even a pretext at fairness. Makes me want to (almost) join a militia. Well it’s said that the best revenge is victory. See ya. |
