Right...Netscape's idea with Concentric seems like the right idea...and is in line with my thoughts on this thread from apr. Which I recently reposted to the Sun thread.

This is indication of first step in storing our stuff on somone elses computer...This is also why I like the NC concept... Let someone else manage the programs, updates, storage, etc...we will pay monthly fee for net access and all of the programs we need to be productive..

Also as i indicated on the Sun thread I am in agreement with you....we will have to have bandwidth... Which I don't think is all that far away.... Some people currently using cable modems say they are getting downloads at 300 K/sec and think they were limited by the server not the cable...

This is probably also the key to java applications...
