Intrastate air will be replaced by electric rail. By the time you leave downtown SF, drive an hour to the airport to check in an hour early, and then drive an hour from LAX to downtown LA, you could have gone from downtown LA to downtown SF by rail, and still had time for a mocha and a joint. Replacing the auto fleet will be the hardest. I have the net and a 42 inch TV and a microwave, and I make more electricity than I use.
