Is that what happened? A mild criticism of the police?

Funny, I seem to recall nightly protests involving thousands of people in almost every big city in America for the past month and a half. I seem to remember stopped traffic, looting and burned out buildings. I seem to remember police officers being assaulted by protesters who were chanting for "Dead Cops" and a mayor saying the assault was just "alleged". I seem to remember a president, an attorney general and a mayor making speeches beside the crooked racist police-hating Al Sharpton. These people - all of them - were bashing the police. And now they are running for cover because somebody said that police blood is on their hands.
