Big Bucks,

Thanks for pointing out the part about MU not getting ready to buy front-end equipment for the Lehi, Utah fab. Their statement, "We will build out Lehi when it becomes cost-effective to expand there - not one moment before," makes perfect sense to me.

Of course, Micron is just a small piece of this puzzle. Taiwan is becoming such a powerhouse for chip fabrication that the activities there need to be watched closely to get a good picture of industry health. From the news releases I've seen over the past few months, Taiwan appears to be moving ahead aggressively with expansion plans. Has anyone heard anything different about Taiwan's plans?

Thanks,
Teri
