I read through the note legalese yesterday. Not being a lawyer I am not clear on the call provisions to redeem the bonds early. IF I understand the redemption provision, MU can call the bonds anytime, but they must pay the bondholder the principle, accrued interest, AND any future interest that would be due up to the bonds original due date. Its this last requirements which seems clear in the detail, but not realistic to me (not knowing bond convents well). Also there is a lot of words concerning change of control of MU that I am not sure is standard boilerplate or added special to discourage takeovers.
