A few years ago I would never have considered the possibility that the government created the welfare system to create a lower class or to keep it in its place. But now, sometimes I wonder! But then I ask myself, "could evil people design a system that would work this well?". I just don't believe it would be possible and so I conclude that it was a well intended system that went astray. Then the visions of the holocaust jump into my mind, and the gulags of the soviet union. So, it may be that the system was designed to create a low class. Who knows? Regards, Stan
