Some points that Roman makes:

1. Volume has fallen off dramatically from the huge selling waves of late 1995 and early 1996, an indication there are relatively few shares left in bearish hands. Bulls can take heart from support on the 13-week moving average.

2. MACD [moving average convergence divergence indicator] has indicated a buy signal. "The positive divergence evident by early 1997 will likely result in a price rise".

3. Indications are the correction is ending and will be followed by a weak bull market.
