I took that tAXiCab before and it was a very scenic trip. I hear that across town rates have risen to $8.5. There is a airport surcharge of $3 for all down bound journeys. They claim to have plenty of truck space for you tuba. If we could get a special rate under $4 we could travel all the way to the Moby show over in the Tenderloin area and arrive in checkered style.
