If someone disagrees, they are "myopic?" Only people who agree with you have normal eyesight? The logic escapes me.

Americans are taxed PLENTY. When the gov't gets almost half of what a person makes, more taxes and more gov't spending aren't the solution to anything. If the Federal Gov't would stick to its own business and limit its activities to what it intended to do, the current tax rates would be far in excess of its needs.
