X, if it's cruel to poke an animal, it's cruel to poke a human. It is not a question of reason -- it is a question of finding a spot that hurts. We all have one. IMO, you clearly enjoy mind-f***ing people. I don't have a big problem with that -- it's one of the reasons I find you fascinating. But, I think it's silly to act like it's a big surprise because someone goes off now and then. I don't mean to defend H in any way but it is a fact that NOTHING he might say can hurt Edwarda now. There were a number of people here who hurt Edwarda deeply -- when she could feel it. More than once, I said to her, "Some of these bitches really don't like you -- why do you let them slide?" She NEVER said one unkind word to me about those who attacked, ridiculed or held her in contempt. EVER! She knew the score but always asked me to be more understanding and see this or that wonderful quality about this person or that. I'm sure she would be the first to chastise H for fighting here -- and the first to forgive and defend him. I'm really tired. Hope this doesn't sound stupid when I read it in the morning. Mike
