Hello again, nick,

Concerning your:

<<...and appeared to not extend to the north toward the Ovoid. It was stated however, that it was still open to all other directions. Is there the possibility that this deposit might come closer to surface?>>

Based upon my VB ore-genesis models, Ryan's Pond shouldn't extend north-to-Ovoid or south-to-the-Bay; it occurs upon another EW-trending feeder-conduit. And yes, if it is similar to the Reed-Brook-to-Far-E-Deeps feeder-conduit mineralizing zone, it will shallow westward toward the Nain-Rae NS-trending suture. If so, VB exploration could get real hot again, inspite of the bureaucratic/political blathering in Toronto and St.John's.

The Aussie dry-laterites are proving to be mostly hype this year, e.g., lots of technical and management problems. PAL (i.e., pressure-acid leach) technology may be the future, but very serious environmental and safety hazards are not being well reported by either our Aussie friends or the North American mining press.

Regards,
