Northforce pointed out something which this thread ignored.
QCOM bought the licensed assets out from a competitor. So what will that company do now that it has to pay up to QCOM for their graphics?

It would be the best management practice to slowly raise the dividend in these uncertain times. It would certainly drive a stake into a few hearts if they raised the dividend by 2-4 cents at the ASM. But they should not go much above that. If they continue to raise the dividend once a year by 2-5 cents, it will not be long before the wall streeters get it.
