Wintel losing it's grip too!

Qualcomm already has announced 15 partners that plan to use the Snapdragon in products.

At C.E.S., Qualcomm’s booth was located just a few paces away from Hewlett-Packard’s. In an interview there, Paul Jacobs, Qualcomm chief executive, said the chips are sufficiently powerful that they could eventually be used for more traditional computers, like laptops.

Back at Hewlett-Packard, Mr. Cook said he welcomed the competition from competitors not just to Intel, but to Windows. He said computer companies and consumers were “starting to throw out the old-style” Wintel paradigm.
