Funny Sal. that you mention the very thing on my mind. Last year INTC
was languishing similarly because of skittish investors thinking only a few days ahead and not looking at the grip of the company in its field.
Same people now (including analysts are not getting tired of raising estimates and singing glories of it). Mind you, they started this in April - May of 1996 itself.
