When I had my procedure they kept talking about giving me a valium.

But not before I answered the health questionnaire.
Not before they examined my eyes one last time.
Not before they had me view the consent film and then sign off.
Not before they placed the drops in my eyes.
And not while I was waiting.
As I was called to enter the laser treatment room, I asked
where my valium was, to which they replied, "it's too late to take it now as the procedure will be over before it kicks in."

LOL

So, I proceeded without chemical aids, which I really did not need...and I suppose they thought so as well....
