In fairness to the "olive barf color..."

I posted several messages that were quite uncomplimentary to the color, but I never disliked the olive per se. I was reacting to Bryan's original message where he posed the terms of the color test. He said that SI had already decided to keep the gold trim on the tool bar and elsewhere. I took that as a given and tried to pick the color that went best with the blue and gold, which was clearly the gray. The problem with the olive was not the olive but the olive and gold combo, which was truly ghastly.

BTW, I wonder if anyone else has noticed that the colors track differently in IE and Netscape. What is light gray in IE is cream on Netscape. Curious.
