FWIW: techstocks.com techstocks.com techstocks.com With all due respect, your postings seem to conflict. IMO the USRX modems are the most compatible with most software and o/s systems. Most software now will automatically detect modem type, its best to go with the auto mode. With win 3.1 try at&f as init string. As far as modem sales go, last quarters and most probably this years are being seen as slow periods from the "cheap" modem makers. I am convinced that this is attributed to the convergence to the USRX technology. I would suggest buying before the 1Q results come out for the best price. Fiscal year 96 earnings were up 158%
