"Rights" vs. Wrongs.......
>>Any so-called "right" is not a right if it diminishes or infringes upon the inalienable rights of any other individual, as outlined within the documents that are used as the foundation for our country. Therefore, "economic rights," "healthcare rights," "educational rights," etc. do not exist.
A principle can veer away from true, defined rights, but using the basic rights as a measure, the validity of any claim to "new rights" can be quickly and objectively determined.>>
Interesting discussion.
Let's not get too complex.
Freedom carries enormous responsibilities which afford us enormous individual "rights" and protections as outlined in our Constituion.
But, like any hard rock exposed to the elements, these Constitutionally protected freedoms and rights are only as strong as our individual and collective belief, trust and understanding in the underlying moral and ethical foundation upon which the Constitution is based.
Take away the moral, ethical foundation and even our Constitution isn't enough to fight off the power of bureaucracy and the administered mess of the sloppy, immoral mix of meat, red sauce and spaggetti from the moral rot of our faith, belief and resulting actions.
Peace.
