Partnership Provides Around-The-Clock Expert

Onsite Service for Leading Storage Routers

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Anacomp Technical Services, a business unit of Anacomp, Inc. (Nasdaq: ANCO) and a leading global provider of multi-vendor solutions support, today announced that it has signed a worldwide agreement with Chaparral Network Storage, Inc., a leader in storage networking solutions. Anacomp will provide onsite maintenance and support for Chaparral's fibre channel routers.

Based in Longmont, Colorado, Chaparral is a premier provider of intelligent storage networking solutions for data-intensive, enterprise applications. Its products provide vital connectivity between SCSI and Fibre Channel storage devices. As the industry continues to develop and implement Storage Area Networks (SANs) to advance system performance and data availability, Chaparral products provide the critical connectivity for both Fibre Channel and SCSI storage devices.

In partnership with Anacomp, Chaparral's onsite service program is designed to support and deliver a complete solution for customers using Chaparral's products and ensures high-quality service and around-the-clock availability. Anacomp Technical Services will provide two different service levels: 7x24x4 coverage (7 days a week, 24 hours a day, with a 4-hour average service response time), plus 5x9x4 coverage (5 days a week, 9 hours a day with a 4-hour average service response time). This latter coverage is available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).
