Sterigenics sterilizes millions of disposable devices. All that disposable medical stuff has to be sterilized one way or another. Incidently, as I understand it, the articles to be sterilized can be sealed up and the rays which do the work actually work right through the packaging. They push pre-packaged items in and out of these units. I imagine that meat, when packaged that way, has a very long shelf life. I hope that the numbers come up for next quarter too. It seems that the company is being responsible by alerting us of a lower than expected quarter. They didn't have to do that.
