The companies do not have many similarities, asides from their work on the human genome.

Incyte sells data on the human genome. They are not in the business of developing their own drugs. They help others do so for subscription fees to their database and other products.

Incyte has a pretty good thing going, they have around 9 big customers now, with a couple more, they should be profitable, which they expect to happen this quarter.

I believe Genome partners with firms to develop therapies together for development fees, royalties etc. More of a traditional biotech approach. Its more of a lt strategy than Incyte.

I am in no way saying one strategy is better than the other, merely pointing out the difference. I own neither but have looked into both.
