I remember a year or two ago when a couple of posters argued with heated anger that posters weren't "real" because they were using pseudonyms. The internet was just a vehicle for games being played between "alter egos". Your experience shows the falsity of such a position and it reminds us how all too human we all are whom post on these threads--and that loyalty, betrayal, backstabbing, and other character traits are as real between people using one name as using any other name.
