Agreed. Judging by the market price action yesterday either some MM were short or there were a fair amount of weak hands glad to get out even. After the pounding the gold/silverbugs had last few months it will take the stocks a bit to acclimate perhaps? PAASF just pulled back quite a bit when spot AG hit 5.16, weak hands or day traders! (Been known to day trade a bit myself:))
As far as El Nino, I haven't figured it out either but here is a site that may help us:
