Christine, I've never tried to put my feeling into writing but I thought it would be challenging to try. Without partcipating I have read this thread for many weeks. What am I feeling? Why do people who write so intelligently, cynically argue about nothing and everything? Good people like you try and have an honest thread where people can exchange their feelings and others take this as some kind of threat against them. WHY? This is what's really wrong in our country, why neihbors can live next to one another for years and never know eachother. They constantly perceive some secret hidden agenda from the other. Fear is keeping us apart. Fear of simply feeling good and expressing it. It feels good when I teach 7 year olds to read...and yet I feel fear when parents ask me probing questions like why are you doing this in your own time? As if I have some hidden agenda. Maybe it's the movies, television, I don't know, what I do know is it's wrong and I wish people would stop it! Take Care, Michael
