"As to Intel grabbing CDMA ASIC marketshare, what part of that market can they get? Probably the low end, because DSP was already behind, and INTC has no inhouse expertise. For CDMA adoption, this is good. Someone needs to address the low end <G>. QCOM can then focus on the high end cool stuff, and collect royalties for low end.
So, after some more thought I think this is actually a big win for QCOM. Maybe some people disagree..."

Doesn't INTC serve as QCOM's foundry? So, theoretically INTC knows all about QCOM's ASICs, as they build them. Now they'll be a competitor, trying to build better ASICs than Q. Am I the only one that sees a problem here, what with trade secrets possessed by a competitor, and like issues? Am I missing something?
