Elmer....re:Ted, I'm happy for you. Most people would be depressed by their company preannouncing a ~$200 Million loss but you manage to see the bright side there because AMD has caused Intel a problem. I guess it was all worth it. You are a charter member of the AMDroid hall of flame.

Elmer, Ted is out of the stock. He is more like me in that we are interested in making money in the market (have been out of stocks for over a year). I am glad AMD is still around because if Intel had no competitors we would still be paying $800 for a top of the line 1.3 GHz chip right now. Instead, competition has forced Intel to pull out all the stops and Moore's law is still intact.
I'm not happy all you poor Intel investors are losing money right now, but at least the consumer is the winner in that we are getting plenty of MHz for the buck. As far as I'm concerned these are grim times for AMD and Intel stockholders.
Give me an I....just kidding.
