Jim, you saved me from posting that link myself.

My thoughts on that piece were that Jobs certainly doesn't need the money from Apple, as he's almost at billionaire status again--he hasn't been there since the first week Pixar went public.

I loved his ''This is what puts the luuuu in lucrative,'' crows
Jobs, who owns 71% of Pixar's stock, worth $870 million, a huge return on the $50 million he has invested.

OTOH, it should appeal to his ego to not only save the company but perhaps lead to some third wave (or is it fourth?) of computing with all these revolutionary products supposedly forthcoming from Apple later in the year.

Maybe he plans to anoint himself on April 22.
