Mart Completes Funding

CALGARY, ALBERTA--Mart Resources, Inc. (ASE: "MMT") announced
today that it has closed a private placement of 980,000 Units, at
$0.35 per Unit for domestic subscribers and $0.38 per Unit for
foreign subscribers, for total proceeds of $350,000. Each Unit
consists of one (1) common share and one (1) purchase warrant
which is exercisable into another common share at $0.50 per share
for a period of one (1) year.
