The top 1% are not "uber-rich". To be in the top 1% of taxpayers you have to make around 400K last time I heard.

But it is beside the point; there is no good reason for taxing people who make $400,000 or $4,000,000. If this were a serious effort to get control of our debt I'd had a different attitude; I've always made clear here that I am willing to pay more taxes if it is toward debt reduction. But I am not willing to pay more for wealth redistribution. I'm sure most people who like me are not uber-wealthy feel the same way.

Nothing Barack Obama has done has helped the lower middle class. Yet, he's already taxing the upper middle class more heavily. It is a classic cluster fuck from the first day until now. That you're unable to comprehend it isn't surprising.
