to continue my line of reasoning let's see, hmmm...

You come home, since the meal had to be put into the microwave before you left, the chicken is breeding salmonella at an exponential rate, the beans are in botulism bloom, and the listeria in the hotdogs is losing its listlessness. I see a full employment program here. the emergency room saves the victims, the ambulance drivers are followed by the ambulance chasers, who in turn file lawsuits against the food manufacturers, the microwave manufacturers and the programmers who made it all possible. Just a fantasy, I know.
