Realistic characters speaking realistic dialogue. Yuh mene like us? Can't see why you need that anywhere, you don't want to set a precedent that reality would have trouble imitating. Did u no they used 11 year old space oddities to design the Skunk Works at RestArea 51? They couldn't use conventional engineering graduates as they stopped at doing things that would not work scientifically speaking.
