I'm on the Board of a bank. We approved stock options (in the minutes) back in October but still havent gotten around to actually ISSUING the paperwork. I wonder if that would be considered backdating?? The reason for all of this is that effective 1/1/06 the ACCOUNTING treatment for issuing stock options has changed. I imagin many companies issued them prior to that date to escape the change. jdn
