At 4:28 Pacific Time (7:28 Eastern), Slate posted the following exit poll numbers -- after each one I have posted the actual returns thus far with the precincts in parentheses. What's interesting is that several of the states were dead on correct, but when they missed, it was always in favor of Kerry and often by 3 or 4 points:
