Hi Billwot. Great to hear about your years at OSU. I finished my MFA in 1974 and have been teaching since then. I attended the infamous osu/um 10-10 tie game in 1973? where our friends at Michigan State subsequently voted to send osu to the Rose Bowl. I must admit I took it much more seriously back then and really don't follow it very closely anymore.

Ann Arbor was and is the quintessetial college town. I did get to Columbus for a show at the musuem in 1972 entitled the Beaux Arts Designer Craftsman. If I recall correctly it was my first accepted entry into a competitive show so I remember it fondly. Now all these years later I am preparing for a solo show this coming March at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, a world class museum. It still amazes me.

If I do get to Ann Arbor again I will look up your daughter's business. The ceramics studio where I worked in grad school was on Washington St. It was an old car garage and housed the clay and grad painting programs. They consolidated the art department on N. campus is a new building after I finished grad school. Perhaps she is our old building. If so, no wonder the beer is good.

And yes, yesterday I couldn't resist taking the plunge into intc again and cpq the day before. I just love these opportunities and hate to pass them up. My portfolio is way overweighted in intc but it has served me well. I could be considered an asset allocation nightmare. My former broker used to tell me that when I had much less intc than I do now. That is why he is my former broker, not to mention the $115. comissions for advice I didn't want or need. Not that I am such a great strategist, because I really do enjoy and need the good advice and support we give each other here.

Have a great weekend and enjoy your "beach week". Tell those sons in law to let the old man win once in a while.

Take care.
