Old man walks up to 1600, Pennsylvania Avenue. Approaches guard at the gate and asks : "Sonny, is John Kerry here?"
Guard says, "John Kerry does not live here, sir!" Old man walks away similing contentedly.
Next day, old man walks up 1600, Pennsylvania Avenue. Approaches same guard at the gate and asks : "Sonny, is John Kerry here?"
Guard looks perplexed and says, "John Kerry does not live here, sir!" Old man walks away similing contentedly.
The very next day, old man again walks up 1600, Pennsylvania Avenue. Approaches same guard at the gate and asks : "Sonny, is John Kerry here?"
Guard looks annnoyed and says, "Sir, John Kerry does not live here, sir! John Kerry is not President of the United States, sir!. George Bush is the president, sir!"
Old man smiles and says, "I know, I just love to hear that."
Guard nods and says, "See you again tomorrow, sir!" |
