From a commentor on another forum: I live in Texas and for near 100 years we have been getting oil out of the ground and selling it to people who have built this nation. I have personally been working in oil fields since I was 12. 43 years of work in the oilfield. I have said this here before and I will say it again. There has never in my opinion been a cleaner time in the oilfield. We no longer work for _____ but they were and are the best when it come to running a clean safe ship no pun intended. Many of the problem areas that I know of in Texas from the past have been cleaned up in this last boom. So while I have been making that dirty money you have been buying gas and staying warm and enjoying a lifestyle with all the bells and whistles on my back. Oil has carried you and yours where they needed and wanted to go and you were always there to take. Your whole world and lifestyle has been built on this dirty oil and what that dirty oil has enabled this country and the world to do. So don't talk about my dirty money.
