The Dallas metro area encompasses about four counties, including Dallas, Collin, Denton, and Tarrant. The other major metro areas in TX are essentially one county.

I think Austin has serious issues with the growth outpacing its ability to accommodate it. I've always considered Austin to be a great place, but it has lost some of its small town appeal, not being a small town anymore.

Texas cities are as different from one another ad SFO is fro LA. They're just different and have their own good and bad points. Dallas and Ft Worth have essentially become one huge metro area.

I expect we're going to move to Ft Worth, which is also a good town. Any of the cities in Texas has a great deal to offer compared with most places.
