Perhaps you're right. But...in my experience, I have never seen anyone upgrade without OVERWHELMING reasons to do so. Based on current time frames and general industry needs - I don't see ORCL 11 (if and when such an animal exists) creating 20% growth. Now that the hyperbole is out of the way... ORCL is not going to get 20% growth. Pure and simple. IF they do, great, I won't complain. But it just won't happen. AND IT'S NOT A BAD THING. These are cagey businessmen. They have addressed their biggest problems early on, and are ready to move forward. What other database companies can claim that right now?
