see my post 8327.(right above yours) As a geologist i've worked in mining, offshore oil, and now environmental sector. You pick your analytical method to suit circumstances. Same sample, two methods, two results. Correct me if i'm wrong, but the cyanide leach test does just that, it leaches the gold from the rock sample. Frankly, i'd be a lot more comforatable with the cyanide test, if only because it is a miniaturized version of the actual extraction process used in production.
