we have several holidays for various events, but only two for celebration of single individuals. my point is that there are many individuals more worthy of a holiday than king, and to choose only one religious icon is politically incorrect when there are several of them, and we are supposed to have a secular government. of course all our coins and currency have printed "in god we trust" on them.
