The Dutch should make it clear to their Muslim visitors that they won't be welcome in the country unless they behave in a civilized manner. It's apparent that the majority in USA re-elected Pres Bush because he doesn't hesitate to draw a line in the sand for bullies:

WH gives Iran, Syria reminder on Iraq
08-Dec-2004 Story from United Press International

WASHINGTON(UPI) -- The White House reminded Iran and Syria Wednesday they had pledged to promote stability and democracy in Iraq, not undermine it.

The pledges, spokesman Scott McClellan said, were made in an agreement at an international conference on Iraq last month. Representatives of the two governments specifically supported achievement of "democracy in Iraq and encouraged the Interim Government of Iraq to continue the political process by holding elections by the end of January 2005."

The reminder came amid reports that Iran has sent thousands of operatives into Iraq to organize Iraq's majority Shiite population to vote in the January 30 balloting in a bid to eventually establish a Shiite Islamic government. Some agents were said to also be training Shiite militias.

Syria, meanwhile, was reported as acting as the conduit for funds and terrorists into Iraq who are fighting coalition forces and trying to cancel the election for a national assembly.

"The Iraqi government has spoken to Iran about some issues and we have made it clear -- as well as others -- that we hope Iran plays a constructive and helpful role in Iraq," McClellan said.

Iraqi Interim President Ghazi al-Yawer and Jordanian King Abdullah specifically discussed the meddling with President George W. Bush earlier this week.
