Haim, I agree 100% about not making decisions on the fly. I tend to make bad decisions when I don't think things through, and I've also managed to screw myself on the tax front when I trade in haste. My game plan has been to stay mostly in cash/bonds and this has been my plan since Dow 7000, and it turns out I haven't missed out on too much since my bonds are up a few percent and when I add that to the dividends that puts me about even or slightly ahead of the Dow post 7000. I've been waiting for VGEMJ (GE Jan 1999 Put @50) to hit 1 for some time now so I could load up as my Kahuna play - it got close but has since slipped away. I still think I have a chance to pick them up though .
