David, sorry to get back to you so late. I haven't had time to read any posts so please excuse me if I repeat another persons answer!

I have been on both sides of a "short squeeze". There is only one possible way to predict a squeeze and that is if a stock becomes oversold. (That's not to imply it could happen under an equal position). The squeeze is the description of the shorts covering to lock in possible profits after either good news, a market reversal or surprise earnings reports. In many cases, stop orders become executable and continue to feed the price, driving it upward!

Since there was a market breakout, supported by what some percieved as good news, the covering started. The earnings were not altered leading me to believe a short squeeze. This is always obvious after the fact, evident by the pull back as we see now.

IMO, the next move forward, I believe, will be when we have an oversold condition. Probably within the next five days or so. That move may or may not be so strong.
