I think that the politics and the performance of management needs to be separated. The management of this company has done a terrific job positioning the company and growing it. It has very prudently and aggressively selected markets to enter and products to sell in which ICN will be a dominant voice. Their Eastern Europe, Russia, and SOuth AMerican strategies, and the emergence of their own products promise to make ICN a first tier pharm company in the not too distant future. Comparing valuations between pharm cos results in a compelling story for ICN stock purchase.
