The Ackerman piece is interesting. I had not read it until I read it here. Been grocery shopping this morning. I don't have much interest in the California stuff, Bill, nor much in whether the recall election is tomorrow or next summer.

I have some faith that the California thing will eventually get read as part of a larger effort of the extreme right wing of the rep party to use extra-traditional means to subvert the customary electoral process.

But who wins in California or whether the vote occurs sooner or later is immaterial to me.
