You may ask where the fresh water in the US is going. A: Over population. Which in the end is a good case for reduced immigration and reduced birth rate. The average human body is 150 lbs. Of that 65% is water which equals 11.7 gal. of water. The US population has increased by 85% since 1950 growing from 150 million to 283 million. 133 million extra bodies times 11.7 gal. equals over 1.55 billion gal. of water stored in human bodies. With an increased population growth of 3.2 million each year there will be additional losses of 37.4 million gal. per year. Talk about water retention! Also take in to account the increased livestock and wildlife (deer population has increased since the white man has arrived) and you could probable double the number. But that is a guess. so the gov. wants more bodies to pay more taxes and we end up with what? The rest is left to your imagination.
