Those who treat the patient or client make money. The only money to be made by the person with the affliction is by being on the dole. SSI will pay benefits if your disease prevents you from earning a living.

A lot of drunks have been getting monthly checks for a few years now, and I hear the term "adult ADD" is being bandied about in psychotherapeutic circles. Wait until people start collecting on that!
